    Description
Andy | 14–15 Year Old Roan Paint Mule | 15.2 HH Andy is the kind of mule that's easy to enjoy. Standing 15.2 hands tall, this handsome roan paint mule has the size, color, and easygoing personality that make him stand out. I've known Andy for many years. For the last 7–8 years, he has been an elderly couple's beloved pet, enjoying plenty of treats, scratches, and attention. Before that, we trail rode him extensively, and he even spent time at local horse shows. After his long vacation, I saddled Andy up, climbed aboard, and headed down the trail. He stepped right back into the job like he had never missed a day. He is gentle, easygoing, and happy to walk, jog, or lope down the trail. He only has one lead, but that has never limited his usefulness as a dependable riding mule. He is comfortable riding out alone and is content to go wherever you point him. Years ago, when we were riding him regularly in the arena, Andy would occasionally show a slight off step while traveling in circles. After spending the last several years living the easy life as a pet, he has been completely comfortable and sound doing the job he knows best—trail riding. If you are especially particular while riding repeated circles to the left in an arena, you may notice an occasional off step. For the type of riding most people are looking for in a trail mule, however, he has proven to be more than qualified and more than sound to get out and enjoy the trails. Andy does become attached to mares if turned out with them, but it does not affect him under saddle. That said, he is still a mule, and mules can be more subtle than horses in the way they communicate. Because of that, we feel he is best suited for an intermediate or experienced rider rather than a beginner. If you're looking for a trail mule with a proven history, a wonderful personality, eye-catching color, and a practical size, Andy is well worth your consideration. He has been a cherished companion for years and is ready to make someone else just as happy. ☎️Please CALL as I can not receive texts on this number Located in Corinth, ME Delivery available
