2017 Bay Tobiano Mare • 14.3 hh Miss Jettin Chicado is a pretty 2017 bay tobiano mare carrying the Hunt Ranch brand out of South Dakota. She’s the kind that keeps things simple—gentle broke, quiet minded, and happy to cruise along without needing to make a big production out of the ride. She isn’t a fancy arena horse, and we won’t advertise her as one. What she is, though, is slow, easy, and enjoyable. She has a great walk and trot and is perfectly content heading down the trail at a relaxed pace. She will canter, but when asked to lope circles she will usually cross fire. For the rider who simply wants to saddle up and enjoy a scenic trail ride, that isn’t going to keep her from doing her job. She does have a spot in her left eye that causes some vision impairment, but she is not totally blind in that eye. She handles herself well and remains gentle and sensible. This mare would make an excellent spare horse to keep around for friends and guests, or the kind you could put your husband on so he can come along for the trail ride. With her color, build, and background, she could also have value as a broodmare and produce some awfully nice foals. No need to make this mare into something she isn’t. She’s pretty, safe, useful, and priced accordingly—a straightforward mare for someone who appreciates a good, easy ride.
