Polaris Announces Updates To Rugged General 1000 UTV For 2024
Polaris recently announced updates to the General 1000 for the 2024 model year. The versatile crossover side-by-side is getting enhancements to both style and performance, including a new Premium trim offering with 14-inch (355-millimeter) aluminum wheels, 27-in. (686-mm) Coronado tires, and Fox Podium QS3 adjustable shocks with soft, medium, and firm options for terrain changes.
Other upgrades include LED headlights for improved visibility, new color options (Ghost Gray and Volcanic Orange), and more. The General XP 1000’s Premium and Ultimate trim levels now come in Matte Silver Quartz and Polaris Blue colors and graphics motifs.
Power & Comfort
The General crossover side-by-side is built for hard work and adventure with a 100-horsepower (74.5-kilowatt) engine and all-wheel drive. The 14-in. aluminum wheels and 27-in. tires combine with a foot of ground clearance to give the General the traction and space it needs for off-road driving. A 600-pound (272-kilogram) dumping cargo box and a 1,500-lb (680-kg) towing capacity help put the “utility” in the UTV. For the comfort of the driver and the passenger, the General has tilt steering, a bolstered sliding driver’s seat, and adjustable seat belt height.
The General also offers several accessory options, including a poly roof, a lock and ride full windshield or rear panel, an LED light bar, a 4,500-lb (2,041-kg) winch, a rear sport bumper, a rear bed rack, and a 30-quart cooler to ensure the UTV is fully dialed into your needs and driving style.
