Honda Pioneer 1000 Marks 10 Years With Complete Overhaul
Honda is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Pioneer 1000 side-by-side with a complete redesign of the lineup. The revamped Pioneers, including two all-new Deluxe trims and the new Elite trim, will be available in late 2026. The Pioneer 1000 Elite is the first Honda side-by-side to have a fully enclosed cabin and HVAC system.
"For 2026, we took a hard look at what our customers rely on the Pioneer 1000 to do every day—whether that's putting in long hours on the jobsite or heading out for a good time on the trail," says Colin Miller, manager of experiential marketing at American Honda. "With the addition of a throttle-by-wire system, new drive modes, and the Pioneer 1000 Elite's fully enclosed, factory-installed cabin, we've enhanced drivability, comfort, and convenience across the lineup, while maintaining the durability, capability, and quality our customers expect. The result is a Pioneer 1000 family that truly delivers on our promise to help customers work comfortably and play comfortably."
Ready For Everything
Strong enough for the jobsite, yet comfortable enough for joyriding on your favorite trails, the Pioneer 1000 is designed for both work and play. The 2026 refinements reduce heat and noise in the cockpit while throttle-by-wire technology improves drivability, making the Pioneer 1000 the go-to UTV.
The Deluxe three-seat version’s cargo bed measures 34.8 by 54.2 by 12.1 inches (34.8 by 137.6 by 30.7 centimeters; L x W x H), while the five-seat version’s bed is 36 by 45 by 10.2 in. (91.4 by 114.3 by 25.9 cm). The Elite model has the same size cargo bed as the Deluxe three-seat model. The three-person Deluxe Pioneer and the Elite have divider slots for plywood to separate materials or hold items in place. The beds can haul up to 1,000 pounds (453.5 kilograms) of tools, materials, feed, and more for farmers, ranchers, and turf maintenance professionals.
